Privacy policy
All information, images, credit card details or any associated material provided to “the supplier” will expressly be used for the purpose it was intended and privacy is assured
Transactional security
As an online business security is paramount, so every precaution is taken to ensure online security now and in the future.
Refund policy
“The supplier” will offer a full refund in the event a product is supplied incorrectly; this includes receiving a different frame from what was ordered a different lens material from what was ordered or a different prescription from what was ordered. However if a product is returned for a refund and is correctly made to the original order specification provided by “the purchaser” the spectacles will be returned and no credit issued. In order to process refunds, products must be returned within 7 days unless otherwise arranged with “the supplier”, with all associated material in original and undamaged condition.
“The supplier” reserves the right to refund at their discretion.
Incorrectly entered prescription data
“The supplier” will not be held accountable for any inconvenience, incurred costs, lose of income as result of receiving a pair of incorrectly ordered spectacles. “The supplier” reserves the right to replace the lenses with the correct prescription at a cost of 50% of the original price paid. After receiving the extra payment the replacement lenses will be ordered. The incorrect spectacles must be returned to “the supplier” in new and un-damaged condition with all associated material within 7 days.
In the event of presenting an incorrect prescription
“The supplier” will supply a replacement set of lenses at 50% of the original price if “the purchaser” has been provided an incorrect prescription by an optometrist and “the supplier” manufactures a pair of spectacles exactly to that prescription. After receiving the extra payment, only then will new order be processed. The incorrect spectacles must be returned to “the supplier” in new and un-damaged condition with all associated material within 7 days..
"The supplier” will not be held accountable for any inconvenience, incurred costs, lose of income or any damages as a result of receiving a pair of spectacles ordered with an incorrect prescription. “The supplier” will assist in providing a replacement as quickly as practicable.
In the event of “The supplier” suppling a faulty product
All care is taken in the quality control process, but in the event a faulty product is accidentally supplied “the purchaser” agrees not to hold “the supplier” accountable for any damages or loss resulting from the product either directly or indirectly. In this instance “the supplier” offers a full refund of the purchase price or a replacement product at the discretion of “the purchaser”.
Age of prescription
“The supplier” bears no responsibility to the validity of the prescription information supplied. It is the responsibility of the “purchaser” to ensure that their prescription is current.
If spectacles have been made to a prescription supplied, and the vision does not feel comfortable “the supplier” recommends that “the purchaser” consult the prescribing optometrist. In the case a prescription modification is made by prescribing optometrist “the supplier” will replace the lenses at a discount of 50%.
It is the recommendation of “the supplier” to have a regular eye examination and health check of the eyes at least every 2 years with a qualified eye care professional, or sooner if recommended.
“The purchaser” agrees that “the supplier” bears no responsibility if a change in prescription is required after receiving a new pair of spectacles.
Faulty frames or lenses
Replacement parts will only be supplied in case of faulty materials. This includes lenses, lens coatings and frames and a 12 month warranty against faulty workmanship.
No responsibilty will be taken for frames supplied by the purchaser for the fitting of new lenses. All care will be taken during fitting but in the event of a breakage the supplier will not be help responsible.
The supplier also can refuse to fit lenses to a purchasers own frame if the quality or age of the frame is a concern for the re-fitting of lenses.
Spectacles are exposed to many situations and regular cleaning and adjustments are recommended.
Freight damage
In the event that a parcel is damaged in transits please notify “the supplier” immediately, and return the damaged parcel with all associated material within 7 days. A replacement pair of spectacles will be arranged as soon as we have received the damaged parcel. “The supplier” will not be held accountable for any inconvenience, incurred costs or lose of income as a result of damage caused in transit. “The supplier” reserves the right not to provide a refund in the event of a lost or damaged parcel, but may do so at their discretion.
Delivery time
“The supplier” endeavours to supply spectacles as to “the purchaser” as quickly as practicable. Please allow 14 working days for single vision spectacles and 16 working days for progressive spectacles. Please allow an extra day for rural delivery.
Please note that all care and haste will be taken to ensure “the purchaser” receives new glasses as fast as practicable. No delivery system is infallible and in the event of a lost parcel “the supplier” will endeavour to locate and get the parcel to “the purchaser” as fast as practicable. In the event of a lost parcel a replacement pair of spectacles will be arranged as soon as practicable.
Please note that all parcels must be signed for at the delivery locations specified and will be delivered to the address specified. No responsibility will be taken by “the supplier” once a parcel has been signed for at the specified delivery address.
International deliveries outside New Zealand will be subject to delivery times within those specific countries, and “the supplier” takes no responsibility for these delivery times. International charges will be applicable and charged accordingly.
Product changes
As within most industries, product technology is always changing and fashion dictates the desire for new frame models. “The supplier” reserves the right to change products displayed on the site without notice. If in the event a product has been ordered and is no longer available, notification will be provided as soon as practicable. Another selection can be made or a refund offered.
Limitation of liability
“The supplier” will not be held accountable for any loss or damages directly or indirectly related to any purchase made through “the supplier” or any associated links.
Agreement
It is understood that through the act of purchasing from “the supplier” the “the purchaser” has read and understood the terms and conditions and has waived all rights to pursue action against “the supplier” outside the scope of “the supplier” terms and conditions for what ever reason, actual or perceived.
